Transferring Money from US to UK
Hello all,
Any recommendations on banks or credit unions with lower international transfer rates? Or any other method to do this except for TransferWise? Sadly, the state I’m living in doesn’t allow a borderless account with TransferWise so am having to seek out other options to transfer money from the US to the U.K. in order to pay my student loan from my U.K. bank account etc.
Many thanks for your advice in advance!

Re: Transferring Money from US to UK
As above, just do bank to bank.
That said: I've heard others state that Student Loans Company will let you pay via US credit card (make sure you use a no-foreign exchange fee card) for those living abroad.
Personally, I'll just continue to "pay" the 1% interest on the loan indefinitely. I've more important things to finance in my life than a loan in which the interest rate is LOWER than my savings account..
