Applying for residencia, how much money in the bank?

Last time I read a few years ago, if you're not employed and therefore can't show a job contract you have to show income or savings in the bank.

Is this still correct? If so, how much is needed...

Expat meetings? You mean meetups for immigrants? Meetup.com has events for all immigrants not just British, and locals but I don't know if Nerja has many. Check Facebook too, they have an abundance.
