Lumped on thanks .... When I arrived last Aug it was 61 then went to 58 just as I was purchasing all my big items grrrrrr .... I was gonna take advantage of the 67.2 this morning so glad I waited....

Just a little update ... finally yesterday been given the ok ....yippee.
Had dysentery amoebiasis for full 5 weeks (not funny) ,,, then as a result of Flagyl antibiotic I contracted Yeast Gut...

Agree Pete ... I left for Blighty 5 weeks ago and was told I needed to give them 10 days notice to gain my clearance ... But here n Lucena I have to renew my visa every 2 months not 6 ... It does...

Diet is consisting of dry toast banana and water along with Buko juice .... I'll just keep that going until things change thanks as it seems to be the most common prescription cheers

Hi been here now for 9 months and had a bout of dysentery about 5 months ago which hospitalised me for 5 days .... It's not pleasant and I hope no one here gets it but again I have been struck down...

Got stopped for the non wearing of a helmet and had to show all the necessary paperwork and my UK license ... was told that its best to get Philippine License in case i have an accident ......

If you go in, they will set you up with a STAR account and can arrange for a peso account to be opened here in Phils. Then when you arrive, you go to your nominated branch and collect your ATM card....
