My wife receive every 6 month around US$ 10.000 from overseas from her family that go into one foreign currency account we have in USS. You can call it family help, gift etc....

Nice places to live in but I really doubt you will find something decent for 500 pw. We found a fairly decent 2 bedrooms flat in Willoughby (northern suburbs) for 550pw but we were lucky to found it...

Exactly, I wouldn't come here (Brisbane) to live, but I have the feeling that Brisbane is treated better from the government and it's people. Sydney is cooler though!
