Section two on the new C1 form has thrown me. It asks fro date of marriage and then the place of marriage.

Date of Marriage has empty space to enter data, but Place of Marriage has the DDMMYYYY...

Right now, the best place to stay is as high up as possible. Last years rainy season never really ended and this years has started early - hence the flooding :(

I don't think it's as easy to teach at schools in Thailand these days, but I'm sure you'll do fine with private tuition. Just make sure you have the correct visa/permit in place :thumbup:

If you're not convinced about Phuket, you should check out Hua Hin. The beaches are nowhere near as nice as...

You will have to get yourself an Non-Immigration 'O' visa. You will have to leave the country every 3 months on a "Visa Run". If you find work when you are here, you can apply for a work permit.

Hua Hin is a good place only 3 hours from BK, but a little on the expensive side. If I were you, I'd jump on a plane to Phuket and stay...
