Have you considered asking your employer (assuming you are working) for the reference ? That is what I did in the same situation last year :)

Yea, he did the NZ equivalent of the hazchem here which was a 1 day course. It wasn't too expensive either. In addition he had to do the theory test for the equivalent class one licence and also...

My husband works for Hookers, been with them since last October.
He drives fuel tankers with them for Z (previously Shell). They have various bases around NZ and I think it will depend...

My husband drives fuel tankers in NZ. Try contacting Hookers directly as they currently hold one of the big Fuel contracts at the mo'.

We are arriving in Auckland on 1st Sept and both kutesurf. On previous tips to Auckland we've been out at Cheltenham beach and Orewa which were good.

We have now contacted AUT about the cert' in applied science and MIT about a pre degree course :)
