With a bit of luck it should reduce the time. I got my STNI as a chef on March 1st and my visa was granted on 4th of May, so about 8 weeks for me! We fly on June 30th via Hong Kong, Perth and Sydney...

I did my medicals with forms obtained from Australia House in London. After i sent them in i got the request from my case officer which included medical forms and a stamp as well as photos already...

I should also add that our agent said we could be on TV if we could fly out to Sydney in three weeks! That would pushing things a little too quickly!
