inter bank rates/HIFX
This is a question for anyone who has experience in dealing with HIFX or any money people for that matter. Is there a huge difference between the "inter bank rate" and the rate you actually get offered when exchanging money? I suppose it depends on the amount you transfer, i am hoping to transfer around £15,000 to AUD. Anyone?

Yes - a bit worse for you. Depending on what you're exchanging, typically 0.5% - 3% worse. Usually towards the lower end.

Yes but not for 15K unless you've got comparative rates from the rivals that are better. Give them hard true facts and they may improve.
