I don't know where you heard that but don't worry. We arrived in April last year with a 10 and a 6 year old and they went straight into school. Many other children have come and gone since too :D

We visited in March with 2 boys aged 5 & 10 and stayed for 10 days. In that time we fixed up a rental house and schooling for the boys. Anything is doable if you make it!! ;)

Hi, we flew in April with Emirates on a 457 4 year visa. We just called them and told them the situation, they give you 30kg anyway and they gave us an extra 60kg for the 4 of us at no extra charge....

As previously said we have no problems with internet here and are one of the lucky ones to have the fibre to the premises. Most of the people I have talked to though have no problems with internet...
