Re: What would make someone a no go zone?

Yes it was. Luckily we have now successfully lowered the tone so it is now starting to look like a discussion on errm "noshing" for want of a better word.

Re: What would make someone a no go zone?

Intriguing. Do you mean a sort of hmmm hmmm as they're getting down to business or an actual tune? i.e they are so overjoyed that they're getting some action that they burst into a little song?

Re: What would make someone a no go zone?

Can I also add - when blokes have got that 'womanly' type shape thing going on i.e wide hips, big bum.

Oh and also someone excessively sporty i.e. to the point where you never see them.

Re: What's the worst advice you have taken away from B.E

It's a tricky one innit. Going to things and having a crap time and coming away feeling like shit is awful. What I find even worse is meeting people that you don't like / have nothing in common with...

Re: Advice or suggestions on moving a small amount of goods back to the UK, please!

Hi - Seven Seas are always a good bet. One of their large boxes has a maximum weight of 30kg so you could stick a toolbox in each. I recently paid £250 for 2 boxes from London to Melbourne...

Re: Short term accommodation Brisbane

Hi, you could try the Pale Pacific units in Redcliffe/Margate, it's basic but right across the road from the beach and park. Very quiet part of the world but good for kids. The owners are friends of...

Re: Melbourne Cup

To be honest I think Caulfield Cup / Cox Plate and Oaks are better days. Unless you're in the Birdcage or one of the other marquees you'll just end up wandering around drinking looking at all the...

Re: Ping pong

We're bringing ours back in a couple of weeks. They still have to do the mandatory 30 days in Aus quarantine as well as going through the usual serology report /bloods done 30 days prior to export...

Re: The guy in the same office as me

I worked with a guy who used to clip his nails at his desk and then make a little pile of clippings before putting them in the bin. Sometimes one or 2 would go pinging off, once one landed on my...

Re: Renting UK House

Hi - yes, you need to fill out an NRL1 form which allows you to receive rental income from your UK property without being taxed y HMRC. You might get taxed on it via the ATO though, depends on the...

Re: Vendor fails to complete.

Just send them an email, it's clearly preying on your mind, seem to recall this isn't your first thread on the topic so just email them and get it over with, good or bad.

Re: Landed in melb 4 days unsure if i should , help!

+ 1. If you're not a big city person then why lurk around in a crappy studio in Melbourne CBD? That honestly isn't representative of Melbourne life.

Or, if you're determined to stick it out at the...

Re: Advice on best wifi tablet for use overseas?
