We never had to go through the phone interview ordeal but we were prepared for it just in case. I made sure that I knew the name of the care homes that my OH's parents were residents of....

The latest nephew to lose his job has been with his employer for 8 yrs. He thought his job was safe and had no idea that he was about to be made unemployed and he had considered himself one...

I have three children, six nephews and one niece.

Of the six nephews, four have been made redundant. My niece was made redundant last June. Of my three kids, two have managed to get part time work...

You can talk to any of the Australian banks before you leave the UK, they all have offices in London, we were told by the Commonwealth Bank in London it is even possible to get a Mortgage prearranged...

It may sound daft but have you thought of posting it. You can dismantle it and pack it into a smaller box or boxes. It may work out cheaper. Wont hurt to ask at the local post office.

I bought some of those Energiser lithium for my digital camera from Dick Smiths, lasted me 9 months, brilliant.

Car batteries don't like the heat, try wrapping some heat reflecting wrap around it...
