I have to agree with you there. The 'why' factor confuses me as well. Keep it simple where-ever you are leaving/going to next always leave at least one bank account open and fund and use it at least...

Take a long hard look at what you have to transport and say do I really need it, do I use it.

In my experience 90% of everything like furniture, china, electrical goods etc are easily replaceable...

Whoops no I didnt read it all:o But I still think nursing would be an easier and better route than secretarial work. Agree about the shoo in but in the less urban areas often easier as well.

Continental epitomize the cheap and cheerful transatlantic airline - usually clean though with no frills. I'd choose them over any of the other american airlines out there

If you have all that I would follow made of kents advice pm her and take a nice paying job in the USA - your visa etc will be so much easier as with most countries the US is still crying out for good...
