South Australia Police are currently recruiting from the UK : http://www.achievemore.com.au/office...pplicants.html if you are interested i would go for it as i don't think there will be much more Ozzi overseas police recruitment.

Most of the other Ozzi states also recruit experienced officers from overseas, but the catch is you need permanent residency first.
Bermuda and Cayman recruit from time to time.

P.S : I like the Indian police recruitment tests, where 'long jump' and 'shot put' are part of the physical tests!

Bermuda aren't recruiting for a while apparently, and all of us they did recruit last year are still waiting for start dates.

Hi everyone,

I am currently a met police officer in LOndon. I am interested in applying to an US police force. Does anyone know, who, or where would accept overseas applications why assisting them with getting the appropriate visas etc???

I know Canada accept them, but not sure on the US.

I may be wrong but I'm not aware of any Police Services/Forces in the USA who will recruit a British Copper unless they already have permanent residence or are a citizen of the USA.

As rightly pointed out, you have more chance of seeing God, unless you are have US citizenship. Canada is your best bet, and policing here is very similar, although I daresay a hell of lot safer and generally better paid, failing that there is always OZ.
