I agree. What's really annoying is that I have become an engineer now - without even knowing!
I might ask them to change my profession on the Iqama, but that's probably going to be just as hard ...

We had a guy bring his Saudi policeman buddy for a "party" once. Needless to say, ever since we have to provide a copy of National ID to the security manager...

Which law is that? They must give you accommodation allowance, not provide accommodation.
A lot of companies just give you a lump-sum and then break it down into various allowances in your contract.

I spent about 2 hours helping an agent doing my visa in Melbourne to upload my pic. You should also make sure the contrast is good - white background. Pic size should also be as per previous post....

Between exists 7 and 8. When heading towards Damam, turn left at exit 7 (roads are a bit dug up at the mo), first petrol station on your r/h, go right. The school is at the end of that road...

If you are from the UK, then British School is your choice. You will also have a priority admission, being a UK citizen.
My kids go to Multinational (we're from Victoria, AU). I personally like it...

I don't think you'll be able to find an ereader in any computer souq in KSA ... Re postal service, you are absolutely right. That's why I use Aramex - it's more expensive, but hell of a lot more...
