Hi

Well have been doing some home work this week and we have decided to apply for a tourist visa. We can do voluntary work under this visa and there are a number of places offering bed and food in exchange for a few hours a day.

We don't really have anything to stay for, house sold, living with in laws, fed up of our jobs!!!!

Might as well do something different and do some travelling. When they are ready to issue the visa we plan to go to Bali for a few weeks......not bad eh!!!!

Going to apply for a visa next week so watch this space!!!!

Just a quick update peeps, still no visa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now starting to think I've blown about 2 grand up the swanny Not the river. Please Mr visa man. Been waiting nearly a year now, GRANT SOME VISA'S

BLAKEY 1 STILL NO VISA EITHER , WE HAD A REPLY FROM THE DIAC ON TUESDAY AFTER 3 WEEKS AND TWO ATTEMPTS BY THE AGENT,

JUST SAID ALTHOUGH ALL DOCS WERE RECEIVED THEY WERE AWATING THE RELEVENT DEPARTMENTS TO COME BACK TO THEM , WE HAVE BEEN WITH THE DECISION MAKER SINCE THE 4TH MARCH , THEY SAID WILL FINALISE ASA THEY HAVE THE FINISHED DOCUMENTS FROM THE DEPARTMENTS AND THANKYOU FOR OUR PATIENCE.


SO STILL NO NEARER 3,400 POUND WORSE OFF AND DESPERATE TO GO .

THINK WE WILL BE ON THE PLANE WITHIN 4 WEEKS OF THE VISA AS WE HAVE ONLY TILL THE 24TH SEPT TO LEAVE.


PLEASE MR VISA GRANT OURS THIS WEEK.

GOOD LUCK TO US ALL WHO ARE STILL WAITING ,

Hi all

next week will be our week i can feel it!
We sent a post lodge-ment inquiry on Thurs eve and got one back the next morning telling us they cant deal with us directly as we have employed an agent (our agent said we could) so got nowhere,on a good note our agent emailed us on Sat to say they had sent another reminder so fingers crossed, good luck to everyone !!!!!!

Haven't got the Fax number but what about this for an idea? www.faxtastic.co.uk then you fax the item to yourself and it comes through as a PDF on your email. You can then upload it to ASPC.

Nah, in laws are fab, want to take my mum in law with me as she does all the washing and ironing. Shes a star!!!!!

I'm still here too as house still hasn't sold after 14 months Our visa expires in 18 weeks Going to validate if it hasn't sold by the end of June.
