wish you would come round and have a word with my ex - Im a nurse, and at the moment working 2 nights a week. now, my last shift (7pm-8am) is on sunday, but he is doing a favour for a mate and plastering his house! this means I have to get up with the kids sunday morning and spend the day keeping them amused, then go and do a 13 hour night shift, THEN I have to stay awake all monday cos there is no school/nursery!!!
but he seems to think IM being unreasonable cos I expect him to not work sunday so i can get some sleep before work!!!

see why he s my ex?

sue

Well rid, Sue, well rid. Thing is, you'll still cope, still do it all and come out the other end. That's the problem, at the end of the day we still get everything done so the men know we will. Grrrrr

perhaps not, but the one in sheffield is spoken for and theres a queue a mile long for him!

sorry...being flippant.....you may be right, but im yet to meet him. most of my friends suffer similar probs with thier hubbies. A pal who has a newborn had to put up with her accountant husband going off to some seminar in glasgow 4days after giving birth. he was horrified that she expected him not to go!!

Without knowing the circumstances, it may be that he couldn't afford to jeopardise his job, with his missus being off.

You just haven't met the right one. If you're riding a horse and you fall off, dont let the experience put you off, you need to get back on.

Yes, but it's all about attitude. He may have had to go off for work, but perhaps he could have been a little more understanding it!

You never know when the right one will come along, and it's usually when you least expect it. If only finding people to go through this life with was as easy as riding (or falling off) a horse!

Sukhi - stand back in line lad
These sirens are leading you astray.
Put your head under a cold tap and snap out of it

All the usual crap is coming out I see.
we can multitask
Yep, you can be clipping your toe nails, drinking home brew and reciting from the Amazon Almanac all at the same time.

Just accept you were not built to do any real work - either manual or intellectual. You were put on this earth to breed and feed, clean toilets and iron.

Now what more could you want ? You are just never satisfied
