Absolutely HUGE congrats to robertnhelen I think you're the first 136 Juneie to get visa grant, thats soooo great and give hope to the rest of us!
Just a couple of questions for anyone, how do you frontload your PCC, I have them but no CO so wanted to send them to someone but who?
Also how do you check the progess of your meds? Is there someone you email or a form you fill in?
I really should know all this by now!!
Thanks xxx

Re: June 07 visa applicants
I don't know if you're using an agent but ours told us to scan them to him(PCC) when we get them back and he'll forward to CO( when we get one) but if you don't use an agent I'm not sure. Can you use your file no that came with your ack but then I'm not sure where you would send it to?

Hello everyone
Jumped out of bed this morning and checked mail. Just had a weird feeling after reading the posts yesterday ......... and sure enough threre it was in the inbox our Visa Grant letter. Unbelievable, what a GREAT feeling!
After a slooowwww start things have really been bombing along recently.
Here's the timeline for your info:
Our app was received June 14th (we're on 136 MODL)
We didn't get a pre-ack but our full ack came Sept 7th
We then initated police checks and meds before case officer
Case Officer was appointed Oct 15th and were asked for scans of new passports etc.
We sent the last doc (Police Checks) Oct 23rd
Then at 7:21 AM this morning the visa was granted.
What a day today is going to be, now starting to panic about all the other stuff about actually moving as we presumed we wouln't hear until Dec.
Hope the timeline is useful for you, and we wish you all a speedy Visa Grant.
We will be moving to Melbourne after Xmas so maybe we'll see some of you there!
Now I'm off to buy some bubbly
Steve and Ange
Thanks robertnhelen, unfortuantely our meds only got to oz last week so would be a miracle to get our visa yet! Your and steve and ange getting yours is a great boost for those still waiting it shows that we're not far off and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Oz - here comes junies!

Re: June 07 visa applicants
Hi,
Haven't been on here for a while, but I thought you may like to know our progress.
Our application was sent 14th June 2007 - STNI skilled independent being sponsored by Victoria.
We got our CO today, asking for medicals which were done 20th September, so I presume they are in the pile at LCU !
At least it's another step forward.
Bye for now,
Sarah & Paul

Re: June 07 visa applicants
Well after moaning to our agent have just heard that our medicals have been cleared and along with our police checks have been matched with our application. Apparently this was 2 weeks ago, we had file number month ago but agent forgot to tell us:curse:
No CO yet but at least I know that our stuff is hopefully it the right place.

WOW! Havent had a chance to post for a while but just wanted to say a huge congrats to everyone who has visa or CO. Lucky devils-Really envious!
Ours will be a while yet- we had meds on 13th Oct but even though we brought a diabetes specialist report with us we still have to see the consultant again just for the same report! That appt isn't until 31st Oct so then I guess we will sit in the LCU pile gathering dust for a couple of months!
Our police checks came back after 41 days, a few days after the end of the postal strike.
We are not planning to go until next summer so even though speed is not of the essence I still want to get the visa asap! Just to know we had it and could stop worrying if we were going to get it!

Re: June 07 visa applicants
Thanks for all the good wishes.
We went for our meds on Sept 25th and not sure when they got to Aus as our doc sent them on our behalf.
This should be good news for those of you who worried about the delays at LCU.
Though we were on 136 MODL so that may have sped things up a bit??
Back to the champers for us, and all the best to you all

WOW!!!Just wanted to say a MASSIVE CONGRATS to steve and ange and robertnhelen for getting their visa's!!!!!!!Cant believe things seem to be moving so fast for us junies!!!
We had meds done sep 27 th and think they were sent first week of October. Have no idea how to track them in LCU - anyone any ideas? Also PCC sent for but no reply yet - was about 6 wks ago now!
With all the successes this past week I now feel quite optimistic - not that we can go until next year anyway!!!Just to have that visa must feel amazing! Enjoy your champagne tonight steve and ange!!!!!

Re: June 07 visa applicants
Are the visa grants to paper based applications or sent via email as processing times are quite a difference for both, if paper then that gives us all some hope
Good luck guys and keep the good news rolling
