January 08 Applicants

Re: January 08 Applicants
Medicals vary slightly as to where you get them done. We've not had any of ours done yet but we've got some quotes for about £800. Also a family of 4.
Your agent should be able to give you a better idea.
My agent keeps telling me to wait as well. Good thing i have as things are taking there time.
Good luck with it all

Meds cost about £200 for adults and £100 for kids plus xrays and bloods. Ring all the ones in your area for prices - they do vary.

Fantastic news Mary - hopefully someone will buy soon!! You have a unique selling feature with the neighbour's son. Why would he need to look?? Hold your nerve hun - I thought I would crack - but I didn't - you won't either.
Pmsl that the St Joe worked - they also sell St Nicholas figures to aid safe journeys - do you think that would work for the visa?!
Fingers crossed for you Claire! I hope the market is picking up in Wigan. I heard of another EA closing today too...
Nice idea - it's a 5 hour drive but we could make a weekend of it.

yea only in winter think it stays bright till about 7 in summer
the weather is lovely in the day but i tell you its so cold at night some times and first thing in the morning Bring your night gowns and slippers you will use them although its is so nice getting up and seeing the sun shinning in the morning it does heat up very quick and then your putting on shorts and a t-shirt house are built for keeping you cool in the summer not warm in winter and that a fact we have a fire in the evenings its so cosy

Re: January 08 Applicants
Just noticed on the automated update email that they've deleted the bit that said the old style police form could be used until further notice
Hopefully all the one's i've sent will still be valid.

Re: January 08 Applicants
I read on the ACPO website that the "old" one was called the "subject access" PCC and that no notificiation was received by embassies YET that they do not accept the old style PCC besides the US who has a cut off date of 15 Aug. The "new" PCC (ACPO) has your passport photo attached to the PCC and is specifically done for immigration purposes , so I assume it would not be long before they make it the only acceptable version...
