Feel like poo. Made it till lunchtime at work but had to come home. Stomach cramps, nausea and just taken temp - 38.6oC, which for someone who generally has a low body temp, is a bit warm
Hoping it's just a 24 hr thing as can't afford to take time off work

First for me in a new role... After a 3 week delay nursing has found something for me.... Sad to be leaving the lovely little team that have been baby sitting me, glad to be doing something nurse related.... Nervous because its a "new" team..... Well not new really... Just the day team on a ward I've worked on before... Working with a manager I dont know.... But who appears to know me... By reputation

Well I didnt actually do any work today, but had a lovely meeting with my new boss about the work I'm going to do.... I will have an office!!!!! YAY I'm a secret fileophile... And love jobs with desks and files and folders and filing systems..... I get to be a detective... Investigating AIMS forms... And I get to do some quality work.. Audits etc AND there will be some staff development thrown in... AND as well as a dream like job With a DESK... i've negotiated my hours up! To 3 hours three times a week... So making progress on that front too....
Start on Thursday... Am a VERY happy and enthusiastic bunny....

I am still not 100%, sniffles gone but hacking cough and the weight I feel on my chest is not that of my quite ample breasts
Daughter situation stable, she apologised to me yesterday for being such a bitch and gave me some choccies. First appointment with the child psych on Wednesday, youngest daughter touring her new school tomorrow and off to see New Kids on the Block tonight. Please don't ask me to explain that one, favour for a mate, taking one for the team!!!

Have a poorly boy on the sofa. Threw up for nearly 24 hours yesterday/overnight. Managed to get some fluid into him but it kept coming back. Has managed some toast and apple and water/hydralyte icy poles but is totally flaked on the sofa sleeping. He did have me up every hour last night but I'm starting to get a little concerned. He's 3 and not a happy chappy. :-(
Also had a brain CT scan today. Not the best day I've had!
