How has your day been?

Re: How has your day been?
She wouldn't go in the end, everything was very raw yesterday and I am not going to force the issue at the moment even though I think it is more important now than ever. She is finding more comfort in being with her friends right now and after speaking to the psych she agreed and was happy for her not to come until Friday. All parents are making sure the kids are never alone and are cutting them all a little slack with regards behaviours. I have told Katie that I am cutting slack at the moment but there will be an end to it and she seems to accept that. Lots of communication happening with all the kids which can only be a damn good thing.

Communication is definitely the way forward whether with you, counsellor or both. I've told First Born she needs to book in with a Uni Counsellor because I'm just not qualified and too emotionally involved.
Hope K gets through this with as little pain as possible.

It was great up until about 20 minutes ago. I broke into the chocolate I brought back from Canada and now I feel a bit nauseous. Mind you, I did just eat an entire 130 g bag of Reece mini peanut butter cups.

You're freaking weird. Do you ever eat decent food? I could possibly manage the celery (just) and the carrot.

NB- I am glad that they are all there for each other. And nice that the parents are all in agreement too.
My CT was clear thank goodness. More blood drained and next step next week....I'm still convinced it's my neck.........but he said not.

Had a ****ing fantastic morning..... Saw the risk cover Dr this morning, no dramas.... Very nice chap.... Then played on the ward for 3 hours and actually feel like I've achieved something.... Set up a meeting for tuesday and closed out a couple of risks.... Waiting on files for incidents.... Did a bit of background reading/research....
Problem is... i think I may enjoy this job more than my hands on nursing job... Which I love very much... Mustnt get too comfortable... Its only a matter of time before I can be back fulltime and hands on
But will set about achieving all I can in the interim

Hoping today is more productive than yesterday. Hospital appt was at 10.30, finally got seen at 1 pm then had to wait at the pharmacy for some medication. Luckily I didn't get a ticket
Romft returns today for good well, except for a week next month. I got me a full time husband

Will a virtual hug do? ((((there there, it's ok)))) or I could sing "soft kitty" to you.
Not really trying to be flippant (but probably succeeding) it's just I'm a bit Sheldon sometimes.
