How has your day been?

Re: How has your day been?
I went to the home show, bought a shower and some knife sharpeners, and managed to lose my driving licence somewhere. And I need it tomorrow as DD is taking her theory and I was vouching for her address. guess OH will have to do it now, and I'll have to get a replacement one. Dangit.
I've turned out all the pockets in my handbag and purse, and coats too. think it must have stuck to my diary and fallen off the back when I was writing appointment dates in. Now I'm looking in stupid places just in case it somehow got into the oven/fridge/wardrobe.

Not a bad day but would be nice to see my husband at some point. He is working such long hours and with so much going on at work I have only seen him last Saturday for the past week and a half!

Re: How has your day been?
Husband had his first dose of Chemo today. Prognosis very good but cancer is fricking cancer at the end of the day. Was diagnosed a year ago - Non Hodgkins Lymphoma but not enough for the doc to want to put him through Chemo. Tuesday he decided it was time. Needs six doses and that 'should' kill it. Life's a bitch and then something happens and you realise that bitch was a bit of a doll afterall

If you need some support try macmillan.org.uk - not sure if you can call the number from abroad but the website has a lot of info about cancer on it and they do have an online forum if you or OH feel like talking to people going through it for advice and support.
