There was a battle between Bernie and Kporte,
For the heart of the fair maiden Ems,
We went at it with pies,
After various tries,
Bernie gave in because I can eat a lot more pies than him and he knows this so god knows why he agreed to a pie eating contest when a physical trial would have been far more advantageous to him with a man in poor physical condition and recovering from a life threatening illness.

A boys night out, they were thinking
They forgot about Polly
Who was not very jolly
From her wrath they are now shrinking!
Polly needs a new drinking mate
Cos now Bernie is leaving the State
Keith might fit the bill
He seems to think that he will
But does he deserve that terrible fate!
And just cos I'm half-plastered and had a really good afternoon...... this one is for my best friend -
Bernie and Polly were friends
Although leaving is what he intends
She will miss him, we know
But as time will show
This is a loyalty that never ends.
