Taking the kids to the dollar showing of a movie at the theatre and you find someone has not only just blocked a few chairs for a friend with a bag or what not, but have taken a few rows.

Frankly, if you're a childcare type place, get everyone there early to take the seats...don't just tell everyone to bugger off because it's annoying when you've blocked off the middle area.

Not just the one off either.

Are you sure it's not the theatre management who blocked off the rows, as a restaurant might, for a large party?

No, there's a sign saying no reservations during the summer $1 promotion days....it's only annoying because it's a small theatre.

Anyway, current peeve: getting the car serviced and the garage forgetting to reset the service clock, so now the service warning keeps coming up....and the dodgy online "fix" to reset it doesn't actually work :o

Those camps take over the city swimming pool here, which costs about that (might be $2), and make it pretty much unusable for the public. Clever idea.

This happened at Christmas for a local panto, but it was for a big group of adults who tramped in slowly in their twos and threes. I almost got all passive aggressive and sat in some prime seats, but thought better of it, if I was on my own I probably would have.

No real pet-peeves but when I was first searching for a job it seemed half the companies I applied for were ready to charge you for doing their test.

As a former postman I thought, 'What the heck!', lets apply for the US Postal Service, only to be told it would cost me $35 to do the test! - Ridiculous!

Then, when I did get interviews, 4 of the 5 were not one-to-one's but I had to sit in the room along with other applicants being asked the same questions. Crazy!

Going back to local freecycle group...and people constantly not turning up to pick stuff up...but to add...

If you're asking people for baby formula, breast pumps, bottles....perhaps asking to pick up the $15 off coupon to the theme park which will still cost you $180 to get into for the family is perhaps not a smart idea and best use of limited resources.

I know everyone needs a holiday, but come on, if it's the difference of food on the table or a day out....

People in the gym who do "made up" exercises on the equipment.

Bubble gum and chewing gum should be outlawed. Being caught chewing or popping should incur corporal punishment.

Coupons that have a valid "from" date....wtf?

Went to the shop to get something as had a couple of decent coupons only to find that one is valid from tomorrow...so will be going back next week as it was $16 worth off making it worth it.

Tomatoes in particular, but anything, in a sandwich that spunks out the other end as you take a bite creating a mess down your shirt....yup, just ever so slightly annoying that one.
