Actually, I quite enjoy riding my bike, but I take it along the bike path and to the trail system, so I don't even have to worry about cars except for two road crossings and on my street, which is quieter than the Society for Mute Dead Churchmice annual who's the quietest competition. |

My son enjoys it, too. Our town is really very quiet though, there are two somewhat 'main' roads running parallel either end of our street but both have either a bike path or a sidewalk almost their entire length. The side streets, bar one, are really quiet.
You don't hit a busy road until you get to US-12 which is a mile and a bit from our house and even then there are lots of crossings. It's great for the kids to be able to get about. |
