When you're cooking stuff and find there's just a tiny bit to much to fit in the pan but not quite enough to make it worthwhile cooking a second batch :/

Why do so many tv shows and movies insist on zooming in on a character's face so that you are supposed to be shocked when something jumps out? I've become so used to it that all I think when it happens is "cheap and overused psychological effect" rather than any kind of dread.

The sound of other people eating crisps. I swear, I can't move into my new office quick enough.

Also, someone was wearing flip flops the other day. What a godawful sound they make. How the hell does that even fit in with the 'business casual' dress code anyway? If I can't wear my trainers, there should bloody well be no bare feel and vomit inducing slappy sounds in the hallways

I have no crisps. :(

Also, people that wear flip flops should have their feet removed.

I have no crisps either but when I do eat them, I can at least keep my mouth closed so I don't sound like a bloody cement mixer

With you on the feet removal though. Plus blokes who wear any kind of toe-exposing kind of shoe should be pilloried as well.

Sunroof and how shit it is...well how it doesn't close the flappy blind bit with it...and how even if it's just raised and not slid open, just how much crap gets in the car.

How the town beach is a mare to get to and considering it's actually a lake beach, being able to see the neighbouring towns beach and how much nicer it is.

How bike shops are so expensive down here...and how crap bikes are at the box stores in comparison...and what's the deal with helmets being bonkers pricey? Can get one in Halfords/Argos for £7 ffs....oh reversing the front/rear brake levers...that's just annoying and makes no sense as it's the reverse of motorbikes :/

Aaaaand... What's the point of having a helmet law when no one has any sodding lights?

/peeve.

What is it with the no lights? Couldn't believe it at first.

You don't need them if you have a pointy plastic helmet on.

Makes the game of skittles more fun...

Saying that, whilst there are lights, what's the deal with so many of them requiring you to unscrew the battery compartment? Makes them a bigger hassle to bother using.

And cyclists don't seem to think red lights or stop signs apply to them. Fkrs.

If you don't like the 'no lights' then it's a good job you weren't in a UK town with a big steelworks. At the shift kicking out time at 10pm, then literally thousands of man would come streaming out of the works gates on their bikes, and non of them would have lights on, and then they would proceed to ride two and thrree abreast down unlit streets. I was amazed there were as few accidents as there were.

Then there's the car drivers that ignore the state law stating that they have to give cyclists at least 3 feet clearance when passing them. This is ignored by about 9/10 of them.

I don't want to start a cyclists vs. car drivers thread, as it's been done before too many times. All I'll say is that everyone on the roads is shit other than me.
