But apart from that, its OK is it?:scarper:
Still, was a free iPad Mini, so I'm limiting my complaints. Would have been nice to have had more than 5 seconds to read the message in the morning about whether I wanted to install the update or not, that had been downloaded over night...would have waited a few days at least :/ |

Well to be fair...the radio isn't completely shit and it is a well polished turd.

iOS7 ate one page of my Notes. Just one. The one that had all my passwords on it. Not the one with last weeks shopping list for Boots. Not the one with directions to a place I'll never go again. Not even the one with phone numbers I've put into contacts. Nope. The one that had all my new passwords on because I recently decided that it was time to change them to something a bit less obvious.

Re: Pet Peeves?
I was listening to a guy on the radio a while back, and he reckoned the best thing was to get a "system". - think of a phrase that you will remember eg My Dog Likes To Bark at Cats. Take the initials, and add in a character and you get "mdl2b@c".
Then for every website you go to, add on say the first and last letters, capitalized, and reversed, and you have a password that you are a) likely to remember, b) is pretty unhackable, c) is different for each website and d) will satisfy most websites requirements for caps/characters. Tell the missus the system and then when you pop your clogs, she can still get at the dosh. Be interested if any IT experts out there think its as robust as he reckoned, because I started something similar a while back, and it sort of works for me. The only thing is that if someone manages to hack one of your accounts, they can probably work out how to do all the others. |

You need to use something like KeyPass and keep the key on Dropbox so it can be synced on all devices...
