Because answering either 'yes' or 'no' would be detrimental to what they are trying to accomplish. One sees it all the time in the visa forums.

I've never actually eaten a waffle. I'm afraid to use those self service waffle makers they have in hotel breakfast buffets, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't work for me.

I tried to use one once. The aluminum pitcher with a lid that I thought held the pancake batter actually held the syrup ...

Bunch of fcking Luddites! The fact that what they produce is bland, stodgy crap that is only edible with a gallon of syrup is irrelavent. I bet Nutek loves them.

This is where I outrage everyone by saying that maple syrup is f'in disgusting and tastes EXACTLY what I would expect extract-of-tree would taste like. :p

The 99 Restaurant in town has a sign that is "9 full sized entrees for $9.99"

I'm pretty sure if you asked for all 9 you'd get a bill for a $100....they really need to sort it out.

The new traffic lights in town, a few sets don't seem to have a sensor, so they go through the sequence even if no car on the other side wants to turn left, across your path. So you're just waiting around for ages.

The new roads in town, supposed to be two lanes, even has signs saying that, but they merge into one without notice instead....also to widen the roads and add pavements, they have removed the ditches. Will be fun in winter when they don't have any room to put the snow :/

iOS devices being so shit at finding wifi networks...what the hell is that about?

Samsung Kies, bag of rubbish and as yet, does not work over wifi....thankfully there's other apps to grab stuff wirelessly.

Tectonic gear box....what is the point of that? There's no low 1/2 gear on the auto box, and going in manual mode to get it in second gear to pull away on the ice wont' work as it automatically kicks down a gear if you're to high and you can't down shift for engine braking on bends, because it automatically kicks up a gear....so it's basically automatic setting with a bit of rough engine reving in between.

I bet you want to get a marker out and add "each" to the end of the sign. I would

That reminds me of a pet peeve. Traffic lights that do have sensor which don't detect the presence of a bike. This leaves you with two choices: 1) wait around for an indeterminate amount of time until a car shows up to trigger sensor or 2) blow through the red light. Neither of which are ideal.

Talking of roads - one that goes past a swanky gated community is being resurfaced AGAIN despite having nothing wrong with it and getting very little traffic (runs parallel to the freeway).

I'm sure you prefer high fructose corn syrup, as maple syrup is too close to healthy.
