Re: Pet Peeves?
How'd that happen? I expect the community got a sound wall put up to reduce the traffic noise from the freeway?

I'm sure you prefer high fructose corn syrup, as maple syrup is too close to healthy.

This is where I outrage everyone by saying that maple syrup is f'in disgusting and tastes EXACTLY what I would expect extract-of-tree would taste like. :p
Actually, I don't have an objection to maple syrup myself, I quite like it but I rarely actually use it. I much prefer to shovel giant heaps of butter on to my waffles and/or pancakes. Also, if you can find a jar out here (and you can) blackcurrant jam is bloody nice with waffles, obviously with plenty of butter. |

Now THAT sounds delicious.
If finding blackcurrant jam becomes a pain in the arse, strawberry jam and squirt cream make a great alternative (this also goes nicely with pancakes - I have done extensive research into it.) |

Trust me, it is.

The blackcurrants were delicious this year - I picked enough to eat several bowls full with ice cream and make about 15 lbs if jam. :D |

I've never actually eaten a waffle. I'm afraid to use those self service waffle makers they have in hotel breakfast buffets, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't work for me.

Apart from all the things physics does, of course. |
