This might be part of the problem. Mrs P has been raving about Gerald, a new arrival at the Lazy 5 Ranch, for the past couple of weeks.

I love giraffes. They are gorgeous. However I don't understand the FB thing and don't want one as my pic and they're starting to irritate me which in turn is starting to upset me. However it's preferable to being asked if I want to play Candy whatsit which just seriously pisses me off. Not really a peeve though, more severe than that.

That's misrepresentation.

It should say "To connect with passive-aggressive weirdos, god botherers, opinionated neocon arseholes and the two friends and one family memeber you actually joined to stay in touch with ... join Arsebook."

And I bet within a 4 or 5 hour drive of where I am right now there is a place I can go to pay good money to "hunt" one!:frown:

Evolution running in reverse. I heard a 'coming up next hour' on the news this morning about people getting headaches when the clocks go back for daylight savings.

What the actual ****?????

Idiots. All they need to do is adjust the time they drink a liter of strong black coffee in the morning, and then take acetaminophen to mitigate the coffee.

That tends to suggest even more inability to adapt to minor changes though, if they can't even manage a Sunday morning without coffee

Probably the same twunts at school here that reckon it takes them a week to get over the jet lag from a trip to Disney...I just put it down to an extension of the endemic hypochondria......

An hour or two either way is easy. But in June we went to Newfoundland, one and a half hour time change. The half hour really puts you out of sync for months on end ... Like going to India or Iran.

Jet lag from traveling through one time zone, eh? How nice :D

But yes, enedemic hypochondria is right - everyone seems to want to find something wrong with them.

Well, they are constantly identifying new non-specific disorders.
