British Expats - Pet Peeves?

Just a little word of warning - before my MIL became totally unintelligible through Alzheiemer's, her only topic of conversation was which foods she did or didn't 'care for'.

Did she like root beer?

Never had black pudding, but kidneys and livers are nice.

I still don't like root beer though :D

How do they get the chickens to drink it after the pigs have peed it out? Or is it the other way around? Either way, sounds like a Taylorist disaster waiting to happen.

Actually the first time I had it I hated it and thought it tasted like pepto bismol and then something obviously broke inside of me as I love it now...
