Going to post something, so you have to park half way up the street because the rest of the street is full of parked cars to the post office and in the two minutes it takes to get the kids out of their car seat, you find your the only car around :/

Further to that, I'll add mine:

Having to bring the bloody children with you when you run errands

Yes, it is a chore. Why people get so upset when you just leave them in the car, alone.

It's not like you can leave them in the boot of the car any more either, thanks to that boot release safety catch :/

You'll soon be sending them to run the errands for you. Car keys are a fabulous bribing tool.

There's no point leaving them in the car - they're always still there when I get back again

How can you mail them if you leave them in the car?

Would you people have said "running errands" before you moved to the States?

That reminds me - in my wife's country, when the beer runs out late in the evening, you give the kids 200 baht and send them down the street to buy some more.

Twelve years for my daughter.

My son is sixteen next year but if that little shit thinks I'm trusting him with my car keys, he's got a long wait ahead of him.

You wouldn't have gone Downtown to do them either.
