I remember when they first built that shopping centre,( lived in the other lower than dog shit suburb lol) the snobs across Marmion Ave tried to claim it as their own...Ocean keys...

I would agree with that..and we have lived north of the river but prefer south of the river..nice beaches are everywhere lol especially guilderton/mooreriver and south of mandurah..and yanchep..and...

I live SOR and have had the odd comments 'Oh the bogans live there and Secret Harbour is much better'.

Does it matter?

PP we get some very unfriendly comments and odd looks ( as tho they feel...

perth is not for everyone..if you like rural you may enjoy perth..great rural locations in 30-40 min drive to the cbd.. and close to great beaches, the hills are also lovely, or you may like to live...

we live in perth and you will be fine on that amount, perth isnt as cheap as it used to be, but we live comfortably on considerably less, (two of us) kids all grown up but we have grandies...

Yes it is hard to be away from family and friends..my oh and I have family in uk, kids and grandkids and also kids and grandkids here and we always think of what we are missing grandkids...

I love books :) and had a ball on amazon in the uk and at tesco etc, they are expensive here and the uk gets new releases well before we do here :(

I have to agree with you :D ..somethings are cheaper in uk (food,clothes, holidays) and some things are cheaper here in aus (insurance,rents) but its the lifestyle we love, we are rarely in the house...

did you arrange for delivery to geraldton with the original movers? on our shipping bill (from original shipper JM) it states paid to door 30 mile perth WA...keep emailing the original shippers...

We used JM, they came and packed us up on jan 19th we were told our shared container would be loaded on ship on 23 jan...the guys who came to pack were great very professional and fast used loads of...

hi you can try taking a trip out to the country to york, or new norcia or try a picnic at north dandalup dam a really lovely place to visit, also serpentine and pinjarra (there are wineries), try...
