We loved going to car boot sales. I don't think we ever left one without at least buying a cd or two. The town we live in now just had a similar sale, sellers paid for a spot in the city hall car...

Our local news is the same, reports of what's going on out there - crime, traffic, weather, etc. I can't see where the paid placements fit in.

We like PBS news, they regularly present both sides to political discussions. And they're not "flashy, glamour" newscasts like most regular networks offer.

DH arrived in June 2011, started job hunting right away, went to work October 2011. We had to move 300 miles for this job but that's not bad in a country this big.
