thanks for all your replies-the landlord posted us an estimate-$350 for water (we opened his water bill anf it was $140!) told us 7 plants had died-wewatered these a lot and is charging us $15 each...

just a little advice for anyone considering coming over on a 457-dont bother just go for pr instead you will find being here on a 457 you will be very restricted workwise also you cant get any help...

we were all granted the 457..its only been 7 months and everyone has said give it at least 2 years but it doesnt feel like home and i cant imagine it to be-but hey give it your best shot it works out...

we have been here on a 457 visa for 7 months now-perth is nice with lots of potential but on this visa the employer can get away with paying you the minimum wage which does not cover the living costs...

my partner and i with our 2 girls 6 +8 are in perth-(ellenbrook) on a 4 year 457 visa and have been here for 5 months. our best mates moved here 4 years ago(henley brook) and we live about 4 k's away...
