There is loads on Kingsford smith drive,7 mins drive from the airport close to the Brisbane river,and reasonable.
Just google hotels on Kinsfordsmith drive and you'll get plenty.

I never even bothered to bring mine back,your right Calor gas does seem to have a monopoly on filling gas bottles.

I went to the council recycle yard and they gave me two 3.9kg...
