Any good / reasonable hotels near the airport just for a couple of nights

Hi there,
There is loads on Kingsford smith drive,7 mins drive from the airport close to the Brisbane river,and reasonable.
Just google hotels on Kinsfordsmith drive and you'll get plenty.

Why stay near the airport.......where there is really little choice in any area you would probably want to stay.......the CBD is about 15 minutes away by train.

if you dont book something there is a large board with hotels on in arrivals most pic up from airport or try www.ourbrisbane.com

the closest would be the Formule 1 hotel just off Nudgee Rd. It's nowhere near anything, so unless you have a car it'll be crap. The ones off Kingsford Smith Drive would be your best option, especially if you get one of the ones close to the main street in Ascot, as that is quite nice and has great food options

The AirTrain is pretty regular into the city, so staying there isn't a problem.

If you don't want to be bothered dragging bags around, I've stayed in the Airolodge on Kingsford Smith Drive a couple of times. It's basic, but does the job and isn't too far from Ascot road from restaurants.
