When I tell other Brits here in the Middle East that I'm moving back to the UK, they feel the need to tell me I'm crazy and list the reasons...

I just thought I'd chip in as I'll be moving back from the Middle East - Oman - and I can't wait to get out to be honest!! Oman is beautiful but sometimes life in the Middle East just drives me nuts.

Thank you for the link, very useful info there. Actually in Oman you can choose to live the very 'expat' lifestyle which you're right, revolves around clubs & other such activities....
