we were lucky, had an old farm house kitchen table, whicker dining room chairs....some antiques and customs let them all thru. They only checked our Christmas Decoration box and again let it all...

Well, we had nothing to come to when we made the decision to come to Australia. OH gave up a really good well paid job, we had all our friends and family around us. We had a good standard of living....

With just over a week to go before we fly to Melbourne, I now can't sleep, so am up in the middle of the night organising things (trying to not disturb the rest of the family!) Thank god the Olympics...

We used to live in a tiny village about 20mins from Horsham....we were just outside a place called Cranleigh, which is lovely. Not too sure about Schools but lots of the villages have great schools....

We have just booked with Robinson's and 20ft container is £3,630 plus insurance. I have to say we had 3 quotes and they all came in around the same price. It isn't a cheap process this moving...

Carlap, that's a brilliant idea, I will try that tomorrow and see if either of the removal companies will go down to £2%, have to agree don't want to be worrying about who is covering what.

Insurance for your Removal - I'm confused?

We have had 3 quotes in for moving our contents to Melbourne, which all seems straight forward, but the cost of the insurance seems to be high ranging from 2.5% and 3%.

Now have contacted Letton...
