Using cheap health insurance for your health is asking for trouble, yes.

However you still have the right to be treated as a public patient regardless of whether you hold private health insurance....

If you have kids, stock up on swimming costumes from ASDA- the 2.50 ones, get 2 of each size, none cheaper than $15-20 here.
Clothing- I disagree- UK clothes always too short for my arms/ legs,...

Sorry- didn't read your post properly.
I have only left the EU on my current passport once before so it would be easy to spot the stamp discrepancy in it.
The test case should ideally have loads...

I meant the stamps that say "Australian Immigration- Arrived date" or "Australian Immigration- Departed date"- there will be one more "arrived" stamps than "departed" ones.

ENS 856 Visa lodged 28th April at Perth office, paper based
Granted June 18th- 37 working days.

Official lodgement date 28th April, so a total of 37 working days (Perth office, paper-based).
