Tounge in cheek remark, but the Portuguese highway code only applies to foreigners. The locals sometimes make their own rules up as they go along. Bless them.

Thanks, have sorted a new email for my wife and reqistered her in the system. You are right, in Authority it states IPS on my passport I will try that out next week.
