We also flew Singapore airlines with a stop in Singapore. Brilliant - cannot fault them. We have two young children and would definitely fly with them again.

We (two adults and two children age 3 and 1) flew to Melbourne in Jan via Singapore (where we stayed for 3 nights). It was great to see the place and certainly did break up the journey...

We stayed in Bayswater when we did our reckie - sold by the fact it appeared to be "at the foot of the Dandenongs!" It wasn't nice. Also didn't like Frankston - not really our sort of people there!

I think a DVD player is a great idea as she obviously won't have her own tv and so will be watching yours! They did have Dora on the "on demand" tv hence why it could be watched over and over again...
