we moved with a baby to ireland look for work first as commuting is a nitemare. try and get a job(ireland doing it tough at minute) then sort the house otherwise could be commuting 3 hours a day

do not need to go overseas as 887 is granted onshore. When you submit visa get issued a bridging visa so do not need to worry about that.

We were not asked about time overseas. only asked to prove...

i stayed in victoria hall in a room with my husband and kids really good, you shere bathroom facilities but rooms have all been modernised and less then a 10 min walk from central station

In australia a year on 3 year temp still looking at houses in ireland to buy again though! Cannot say enough positives about ireland. Is expensive to live etc, etc but felt really at home, great...

you also get toads that make a cricket type noise, i love them, apparently if 3 of you get torches and head towards the noise with thee bean towards it you find them, never tried as ilike them

I found people to be very friendly when you get to know them are your kids at creche or school start there talk to them at school, try and go to any local events, it is hard but you do get there took...

to prevent anything with citronella in it, the avon skin so soft (green oil spray) works for midges in scotland only thing that does, the clicker works ( about $20 from pharmacy works well one bitten...

yes it is possible do not ask for specific bank statements only that had car for 6 months and inireland can insure car not registerd in own name and can say coming back and forward alot.

we got round it as having not sold house in uk in company accomadation and i went in with 2 kids under 3 the wek before xmas. my husband had tried everything. THe kids caused a scene she stanped it...
