Sending passports to OZ hous from Ireland
Please advise what way should we sent our passports to London.
I have to sent following
assports,grant letter,covering letter,envelope with return address.
Is it ok to sent it by reg.post. and how they(AHC) will sent it back to us.

If I remember correctly I sent our's by registered post and they returned them by ordinary post. All was fine.

The problem is that this information is not useful for those in the Republic of Ireland, except that it has the street address.
Courier is normally recommended, ensure you enclose a pre-paid envelope for return.

sent ours from ireland, registered post and normal envelope back, worried like mad until they arrived back but they did no bother. Sending passports in post made me very uneasy

Has anyone any idea about how long it takes to get the passports there and back? We were just granted visas and are due to fly next Weds, so I'm not sure it's worth the risk of sending off the Passports to get Labels. I presume you can just get a visa label at a local Immigration office when in Australia?
