I've seen a few freckly Scots in my time in NZ (I'm English BTW), who just won't wear a sun hat.
A big mistake in my opinion.

The NZ sun can do terrible things to the top of a Highlander's head....

Tis true.
NZ BE is seen as extremely negative by other immigration forums.

Quite a number of old posters stating they don't post here anymore because of the slagging.

No, but as everyone keeps pointing out, New Zealanders are already down the scale economically, so not so far to fall.
