The sub class 20 visa you get allows you to work. It is a permanent resident visa and I currently work full time.

I cant comment on the quarters as living in Sydney is so different to anywhere...

The process from start to finish took us 15 months. I have no idea how that may have changed now?

Then:-
Husband has to get a medical to be passed as medically fit
then a long process...

If this paperwork is the beginning stage for your medical, then this is for you to get medical clearance to be fit to join the Navy. The Tavistock medical part is a long way down the line for the...
