Not so useful, if you are above, say 4......

Silent Pool Pumps

We've been given a Zodiac pool pump with our new pool, which apparently has a noise level of 68db (although there is a suspicious 80db on the pump label).

We're doing the pool thing at the moment, and by our quotes an average size fibreglass pool (about 8ish x 4ish) will cost around $19,000.

Then, depending on what you want for the landscaping and...

Re: Down Under by Bill Bryson

That's my favourite bit too. I wept as i was reading it and i laughed so much it made my jaw ache.

And the bit where he's running from dogs, holding rocks and then runs into the cobweb!

Freesolar - QLD

Anyone on here register with these guys, or the other company, featured on Current Affair?

The deal was for a 1Kw Solar Panel System, essentially free, with government rebates.

Can anyone recommend a company on the SC?

And, for a concrete pool (about...

I posted last year about feeling depressed and exhausted whilst taking thyroxine, and being anaemic. I am still on 50mg thyroxine, and still feel the same, although apparently I'm not anaemic...

Re: Broadband Prices

In my experience, be wary of AAPT (intermittent ADSL2+ in Brisbane, about a stone's throw from the exchange, and god awful customer service helpline/email).

Primus have done an excellent job for...

Re: Moving to Sunshine coast

Er, ok. Instead of a five minute drive to the beach, i'd prefer a five minute walk, which living the right side of the Nicklin Way would get you. Ok, not *always* a five minute walk, but if you're...

Re: Moving to Sunshine coast

We moved to the SC from Brisbane, and haven't yet regretted it.

Re: Queensland house prices more affordable?
