We had to go back for that.

Citizenship Oath ceremony was done in February.

Travelled to Vancouver today to take the oath this morning!

We took the oath today in Vancouver and were handed a lovely Certificate of Citizenship. In two days time the husband will be applying for a passport in the hope that it arrives before he has to go...

We took our test on 6th December in Vancouver and just received a letter yesterday inviting us to take our Ceremony of Oath on 21st February.

Process will have been 14 months in total.

We sent our forms off 10th December 2010 and received a letter back yesterday with the Discover Canada booklet. No timelines mentioned and nothing stating application now being sent to provincial...

I assume they would be able to check travel movements by your passport.

We have only been out of Canada once when we travelled to Seattle for 2 nights but obviously we had to cross the border...
