sold the better car (2 year old Volvo V70) through Auto Trader, got more than we paid for it 7 months earlier :thumbsup: basically got my mum to call a couple of times whilst people were there...

I dont think its selfish .... I think its sad.

but we dont live our lives (and provide for our family) sticking close by rellies, our life, job opportunities and prospoects are 10 times better...

being an expat can for sure be hard - I cant and wouldnt judge those who return or ping pom as I havent walked in their shoes. Now you have the big dilema, you've tried both sides of the coin ........

I use a bluetooth device but its not one of those one ear-piece things ... its a pendant music bluetooth device to listen to the tunes on my phone and it has a mic on the cable if a call comes...

yep - it was too mcuh really for us to change from living like we do here to live there. Great for a vaca - but not for us to live there. We love it for a week, the shopping, the food, the sights...

its a toss up between MacDonalds - lasted 2 shifts - and being an estate agent:eek:

MacDonalds was just filthy, filthy filthy filthy! was covered in grease from the beggining to end of the shift....

we like Miami, infact we're going in 12 days time again, and our favourite area is north of the city around Aventura area. Still easy access to all the city and South Beach but more of a suburbs...

If we were back still in the UK both our jobs would be in danger and we'd be taking forceable paycuts ..... when we were in the UK in July and visited our old clubs both of them had laid off staff...
