Sorry - but no...... I volunteer at my childrens school and its just the same as in England. Its hard getting volunteers, the school put on a BBQ for parents but hardly anyone turned up.... I know...

We have also rencently moved to this area - we live just outside a town called Lindsay which is about 20-30 mins from Peterborough. And we love it - the Kawarthas is such a great place to be there...
