In QLD you now need a license to have a cat. And it's payable annually. Well its not strictly a license, more you have to register them and pay an annual fee. But you do need a permit if you want...

I am about to engage a contractor to renovate my bathroom for me. They have a BSA Licence and are a member of Master Builders Queensland, however on the Minor Works Contract they haven't put an ABN....

I've used them twice, different branches both utterly crap. One didn't have a clue about how to convert the interest I'd earnt overseas into Aus dollars, and the next time they used the wrong...

Agreed, tried myself last year but read somewhere the Etax software is only for Windows and won't work on macs. Your choice is to get someone to do it for you (tax accountant), find a PC to use or...

I probably didn't do it properly but I left mine in an instant ISA, told my bank I was moving abroad and they said it was fine to keep money in account but just couldn't put any more money in it once...
